Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church was established in January 1973 as the first church in the state of Wyoming belonging to the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).  The church located at 4776 Mountain Road was built in 1977, with a large education wing added in 2000. Little Lambs Child Development Center, established in 2003, serves children ages 3-5.

We believe that the Bible is the true Word of God, complete and without error.  We believe in the Triune God:  the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  We believe that Jesus Christ, Son of God, became man and lived a perfect life on this earth, suffered and died for our sins, and rose again from the dead.  Through this sacrifice our sins were forgiven and we now have the promise of eternal life in heaven.  We believe that we receive this free gift of forgiveness not through anything we can do, but only through faith in what Christ has done for us.  Along with our eternal salvation God promises to bless us richly here on earth with love, joy, and peace.  This is the Good News that we want to share with everyone!

Visitors are always welcome at our Worship Services! There is no dress code for Worship Services; some of our members dress up, but others come in blue jeans, so you should be comfortable as you are.  Our Worship Services usually include 3-4 hymns, responsive liturgy, readings from Scripture, and a sermon based on one of the Scripture readings. The worship folder contains the service printed out in its entirety. There will be an opportunity for members to contribute their offerings but visitors are not obligated to give (we are just happy to have you join us!).

Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sunday of each month for those members who have prepared and desire to receive it. Guests are asked to visit with our pastor if they are interested in joining us for Lord's Supper. The Sunday services usually last about an hour. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or e-mail us.
